Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 8652. Bbl. 22 1/2". Scarce & desirable original condition G41 semi auto rifle w/ rail to accommodate the ZF 40 scope & special "straddle" mt. Finely machined receiver marked on left side "G.41 8652 ac43" indicating Walther mfg. Number "9367" matches on muzzle cap, front sight, rear sight, trigger guard, buttstock & mag. box. Bolt assembly has mismatched numbers. Sliding dust cover is not present in bolt carrier. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1200m. Blade front sight w/ replacement hooded. Bayonet bar is present, cleaning rod is not present. Provision for side sling. Cup type buttplate. Laminated buttstock & composite handguard. Buttstock marked only w/ partially legible serial number on belly. CONDITION: stock set has worn stained original finish w/ scattered scratches & handling marks. Metal retains 50% original blue finish turning gray w/ wear, scattered scratches, light oxidation & fine pitting. Good bore w/ sharps lands, grooves turning slightly dark. (20-834/RW).
