Cal. 32 ACP. S# 1498. Bbl. 18 7/8". Numbers match on receiver, bolt & ejector. Rifle is marked on left side of receiver w/ "Rheinische Metallwaaren-& Maschinenfabrik", which is Rheinmetall. Also marked "DREYSE", which was a trademark owned by Rheinmetall. Additionally marked "ABT. SOMMERDA". Right side of bbl. & receiver. Receiver hinges at foreward end, upper & lower parts have Imperial Eagle Crown "B" proofs. Fixed sights, open rear sight & inverted V front. Rifle was designed Louis Stanger chambered in 32 ACP (7.65mm Browning). Checkered walnut stock set w/ schnabel forend tip, 7/8" sling swivels & grooved hard rubber buttplate. MAGS: 1 detachable 6 rd. CONDITION: stock set has staining, wear, dents & scratches throughout. Notable dents w/ loss of wood on left side of butt in cheek area. Buttplate has missing chip at toe & crack extending to lower screw. Diamonds have wear, flattening & scattered missing diamonds. Forend has 2 sm. cracks at bottom ahead of receiver. Metal retains lg. percentage of blue on receiver w/ scattered sm. spots of oxidation & fine pitting throughout. Bbl. has traces of blue turning gray & patina w/ oxidation & fine pitting. Bbl. has brazed repair behind muzzle & below front sight. Fair worn bore turning gray in grooves. (20-336/RW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
