Base is signed by Phil Tippett.
Original creature maquette for 'Wooly Bully', an unproduced, abandoned Robert Zemeckis project that was in development during the late 1980s. The film was conceived as a monster/creature feature. Concept artist and animator Phil Tippett was attached to the film and created extensive hand-drawn pencil sketches of the movie's creatures, including a gerbil-like monster with bull horns.
The project was ultimately shelved, and Zemeckis moved on to direct other massive hits like Death Becomes Her and Forrest Gump.

This lot is part of the Phil Tippett Collection and will come with a co-signed COA by Phil Tippett.
Phil Tippett is the founder and namesake of Tippett Studio. His varied career in visual effects has spanned more than 30 years and includes two Academy Awards; and six nominations, one BAFTA award and four nominations, two Emmys and the advent of modern digital effects in motion pictures.
He is the inventor of the Stop-Motion technique called Go-Motion and even has a dinosaur species named after him: Elaphrosaurus philtippettorum.
