Small wooden box containing souvenirs, medals, bringbacks, and treasures of a Navy Lieutenant drill instructor. The box contains medals for marksmanship, Honorable Service, Ordnance Corps, and a ribbon bar for National Defense and Occupational Service. Including two pins for Veterans of WWII and Foreign Wars, drill instructor cap insignia, a Nazi German 'Tag de Arbeit' broken pin bringback, US Navy Reserve pin, nine naval buttons, 10th Cavalry Regiment pin, Air Assault badge, one Lieutenant gold bar, parachutist badge, US Naval Honorable Discharge pin, a military issued whistle, and small pieces of sweetheart jewelry. Also included is a Naval Training Center plaque, New Caledonia trench art bracelet, one Technical Sergeant patch, one Staff Sergeant patch, one Drill Instructor patch, small newspaper clipping from August 1947, small 3.75 x 4.75 photograph of soldiers possibly in Japan, and an envelope stamped from 1942.
