This interesting & varied lot contains 1 WWII Luftschutz helmet w/ primarily a blue body, full liner & replaced decal. / 1 WWII Army dress bayonet & scabbard w/ frog. / 1 WWII Adolf Hitler postcard w/ cancellation stamps on reverse. / 1 Post WWII pocket compass marked, "ELYCO W. Germany". / 2 Original boxes of WWII 8mm Mauser ammunition dated 1938 w/ Waffenamt. / 1 Black leather field first aid kit w/ a Hitler Youth diamond impressed into the top. / 1 Metal oval tag measuring 2 3/8" x 1 1/4" that reads, "ORGANISATION TODT AUSWEIS BRITISCHE KANALINSELN". Presumably, identification for a resident of the British Channel Islands occupied by Germany during WWII. CONDITION: helmet shows evidence of being repainted several times. First Aid kit shows moderate wear. Remaining items show light wear. (02-13451/BF). $400-600.
