LEATHER HANGER. Overall length: 15 1/2". Blade marked, “RLAD” in a triangle & “GES. GESCH. CARL EICKHORN * SOLINGEN * CE”. Front of blade etched, “Arbeit adelt”. 2 Piece stag horn grips. “Ma282” stamped below the grip. Scabbard has a black enameled body w/ plated mounts. Hanger is black leather w/ correct plated clip. CONDITION: blade shows primarily scabbard wear. Grips are undamaged. Hilt shows light wear w/ some impact marks on the pommel. Scabbard tip has several minor shallow dents along w/ a significant dent at the left corner. Both screws are missing on the tip. Scabbard finish is about 95% but appears to have been retouched in spots. Hanger shows light expected wear & remains quite solid. (02-14790/BF). $700-1,100.
