ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 32 Win. Spl. S# 1728487. Bbl. 20" carbine style w/ ramp mounted hooded bead front sight & elevator adj. semi buckhorn sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Blue finish. Action is pistol grip style which is very seldom encountered on Post War model 94's. S# indicates 1951 mfg. Short wood band fastened forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut featuring point pattern factory hand checkering that wraps around forearm. Checkered steel buttplate as found on the Model 64 or 70. CONDITION: bbl. & action retain 97% bright original blue showing sm. scratches & freckling. Top tang screw shows screwdriver distortion. Stock & forearm have very good finish showing light wear & a few sm. marks. Stock shows sm. added wood repair right of top tang. Bright near excellent bore. (20-855/DS). CURIO. $3,000-5,000.
