Cal. 30 Army (30-40 Krag). S# 422851B. Bbl. 22" carbine style. Replacement pinned ivory blade front sight w/ original graduated leaf carbine rear sight. Blue finished action w/ saddle ring on left side. Band fastened grooved walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ steel carbine trapdoor buttplate. Handguard is not present. Mfg. 1929. CONDITION: bbl. retains 90% lightly worn blue showing muzzle wear & sm. marks. Action retains 50% flaking blue blending w/ a gray/brown patina. Stock & forearm show heavy dents & handling marks w/ sm. cracks behind action. Bore retains lightly worn rifling. (20-572/DS). CURIO. $1,500-2,000.
