Cal. 30 US (30-40 Krag). S# 44971. Bbl. 28" rnd. w/ pinned German silver blade front sight & elevator adj. sporting rear sight. Ebony tipped Schnabel forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. 1904 Mfg. CONDITION: 90% reblued finish over areas of remaining pitting. Nickel Steel bbl. has acquired a plum cast. Buttplate brightly polished. Heavily sanded & undersized wood shows numerous handling marks. Forearm has sm. cracks extending from action. Stock has cracks in wrist area w/ 2 screws attempting a repair. Top tang screw is a replacement w/ oversized head. Dark pitted bore. (20-922/DS). CURIO. $400-600.
