WINCHESTER 1873 DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE.
Cal. 38 WCF. NSN. Bbl. 24" oct. Rocky Mountain style front sight w/ semi buckhorn rear sight. Full length mag. tube. Third model rifle w/ blue finish having case colored hammer & lever. Single set trigger. Tang shows no S# indicating replacement. Walnut forearm & pistol grip stock w/ style H factory checkering & steel shotgun buttplate. Pistol grip has replacement synthetic ivory inlay. Top tang channel is marked w/ assembly #" 836". Action tangs bear no serial or assembly numbers. CONDITION: 60% dull fade blue showing areas of wear, corrosion & light pitting. Hammer & lever retain some lightly visible case colors. Stocks show moderate wear w/ scattered dents, scratches & handling marks. Bore retains sound rifling showing scattered very light pitting. (20-684/DS). CURIO. $8,000-12,000.
