Main Description: This rifle uses the Improved Francotte patent action, dated 1897 right side of receiver marked Made Specially for ZAR South African Public of the Boers. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, blued finish, cocking indicator, short lever. Two piece smooth full military wood stocks, forearm channel is chipped and damaged, straight grip, smooth steel butt plate, sling swivels, bayonet lug, cleaning rod.
Wear: Metal finish shows a few light pitted spots, rust speckles, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
