Main Description: Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight with Guard on middle band, tapered round barrel, side lock marked US Springfield 1873 with checkered spur hammer that functions, saddle ring and bar on left side. One piece smooth full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth curved steel butt plate with trap, tang marked US, stock chipped at heel and toe with a couple of small cracks.
Wear: Metal finish turning silver grey with pitting, light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
