Main Description: This was an original US Bridesburg Musket Manufactured in 1865, converted by JG Needham with a right side breechblock that swings forward, they are considered to be modified and ordered by The Fenian Brotherhood to use against the British in Canada. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, side lock with checkered spur hammer that functions, extractor is present. One piece smooth full military wood stock, forearm is chipped and cracked, straight grip cracked behind lock, smooth steel butt plate, tang stamped US, sling swivels and ramrod.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with pitting, rust, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
