Main Description: Brass bead, shortened round barrel dated 1864, side lock marked US Providence Tool Co, Providence RI, dated 1863. Grooved spur hammer that functions, replaced musket nipple. One piece sporterized wood stock, straight grip, smooth steel butt plate, rear sling swivel, stock cracked on left side, missing ramrod.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows marks, scratches and wear.
