Overall length: 39 1/2". Blade length: 31 1/2". Single wide fullered swept blade marked at the ricasso, “S A 1911”. Sheet steel guard w/ 5 cut outs & curled quillon. Wire wrapped shark skin grip. Crosshatched palm rest w/ thumbprint. Iron mounted canvas covered scabbard w/ peg. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing light gray patina w/ very minor scattered staining. Hilt generally shows light wear. Scabbard shows very light wear. (02-13643/BF). $3,000-4,000.
