One hunter will join Mike Angelides Safari Royal Tanzania for an unforgettable 21-day 1x1 full bag lion hunt in the Lukwati-Piti Game Reserve of Tanzania – Lion trophy fee is winner’s cost and based on the applicable trophy fee of the year of the hunt. Method of take is rifle only. (Updated year) This dangerous game hunt is available for 2025 or 2026, please enquire with the outfitter for available dates. Also available at the cost of trophy fees are leopard, up to 3x Cape buffalo, hippo, roan antelope and regular plains game species; see donor for pricing and details. Additional hunters are welcome at current rates; non-hunters are welcome at $500/day. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by vehicle and foot with hunting done by spot & stalk. This package includes field prep, greet/assist at Kilimanjaro Airport, RT transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha, hunting area fees, exclusive use of a fully equipped private hunting camp, luxury safari-style accommodations, services of highly trained safari staff, experienced professional guide, transfers during hunting in a fully equipped 4WD vehicle with winch and car fridge, meals prepared with the finest quality of locally sourced meats, fresh vegetables and fruits, bottled mineral water, soft drinks, local beer, South African wines and an assortment of alcoholic beverages, daily laundry/pressing service and limited satellite internet in camp. Not included are CITES permits, trophy fees of the year of the hunt for animals harvested or wounded or lost, premium hunting permit at $4,500, VAT at $13,230, trophy dipping, treatment/packing and export documentation at $2,500, gun permits/ammo duties (three rifles and 180 rounds) at $1,200, arrival day VIP lounge/handling at $200, which is payable upon confirmation of the safari. Other payable safari extras include before/after hunt accommodations and meals in Arusha at $300/per person/per night, RT private air charters from Arusha to camp at an estimated $14,000, trophy damage insurance, hire of firearms/ammunition, any increases or surcharges in Tanzania Government fees or taxes, any meet & greet/firearm clearing/transfers from Nairobi or Dar es Salaam (if applicable), Global Medical Evacuation & Repatriation and gratuities suggested at $5,000 for camp staff and $5,000 for professional guide. Payment of $21,630 for the government fees and taxes and a deposit of $25,000 for trophy fee(s) and private charters will be required at booking and will be applied towards the final bill.
