Cal. about 32. NSN. Bbl. 46 5/8" oct. w/ rifled bore. Overall length 63 1/2". German silver blade front sight w/ fixed V notch rear sight. Engraved trade lock marked "GOLCHER". Dbl. set triggers. Pin fastened half length walnut stock w/ pewter forearm cap. German silver fittings include crescent buttplate, finger curl trigger guard, forearm plate, sideplate escutcheons & key escutcheons. Breech area on both sides of top tang have added German silver plates. German silver decorations consist of 2 stars on each side of butt along w/ squirrel on right & daisy on left. Hardwood ramrod held on under rib by 3 plain German silver pipes. CONDITION: metal has dark mottled patina appearance w/ wrench marks & pitting becoming heaviest in breech area. Stock has age darkened appearance w/ scratches & marks having added wood repair between lock & tumbler. Bore retains strong rifling. (01-16599/DS). ANTIQUE. $300-500.
