PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 1059984. Bbl. is High Standard 5"; correct for later models. Highly sought model mfg. 1943 w/ all correct features except mag. as noted. Approx. 55,000 mfg. in Swissvale, PA. "P" firing proofs, Keyes Fibre "5" & Star marked plastic grips w/ small rings around screws, "R.C.D." inspector markings plus all other correct features. Finish has 2 tone (black / grey) appearance near front of slide. MAGS: 1 good plus 7 rd. Scovill ("S" on top of lip) as used in Colts ("C-S" on bottom of lip) having some spots of light pitting. CONDITION: very good overall appearance w/ typical high point wear most noticeable on front strap; minimal wear on grip safety. Typical scratch from improper slide stop installation. Hand wear to butt area of grips; especially left. Wear on front sight blade plus metallic marks to its serrations. Near excellent bore. (19-4615/NW). CURIO. $2,000-4,000.
