Original photo of the Wolf Lizard" creature that hung in Phil Tippett studio from the production of the planned 1970s science fiction film by stop-motion animator Jim Danforth. Inspired by "A Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury, the story followed tourists taking a dangerous prehistoric safari. The project was canceled before filming officially started due to a lack of money.

This lot is part of the Phil Tippett Collection and will come with a co-signed COA by Phil Tippett.

Phil Tippett is the founder and namesake of Tippett Studio. His varied career in visual effects has spanned more than 30 years and includes two Academy Awards; and six nominations, one BAFTA award and four nominations, two Emmys and the advent of modern digital effects in motion pictures.

He is the inventor of the Stop-Motion technique called Go-Motion and even has a dinosaur species named after him: Elaphrosaurus philtippettorum.
