The Rock (1996) - Captain John Mason (Sean Connery) Prop FX Knife.
Made of light weight resin.
The blade has been cut in half with a metal loop connecting the 2-pieces.
Used in the scene when Sean Connery throws a knife at a Marine guard and hits him in the neck creating the illusion that it went completely through his neck.
Original prop special effects knife used by "John Mason", played by Sean Connery in the Michael Bay directed action thriller film 'The Rock' (1996), where a mild-mannered chemist and an ex-con must lead the counterstrike when a rogue group of military men, led by a renegade general, threaten a nerve gas attack from Alcatraz against San Francisco.
Starring Sean Connery, Nicolas Cage and Ed Harris, with supporting roles played by Michael Biehn, William Forsythe, David Morse, and John Spencer.
