Original helmet worn in the Michael Curtiz and William Keighley directed swashbuckler film 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' (1948), starring Errol Flynn as the legendary Saxon knight Robin Hood, who in Richard I's absence in the Holy Land during the Crusades, fights back as the outlaw leader of a rebel guerrilla band against Prince John and the Norman lords oppressing the Saxon commoners.
The cast also includes Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone, Claude Rains, Patric Knowles, Eugene Pallette, and Alan Hale.
Also used in other movies/TV shows with or without an added top piece including 'Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe' (1940), The Three Stooges' short, Knutzy Knights (1954) and David and Bathsheba (1951), etc.
