Original complete costume and helmet worn by "Roneth", played by Neil Maffin in the John McTiernan directed historical action film 'The 13th Warrior' (1999), which is a loose adaptation of the tale of Beowulf combined with Ahmad ibn Fadlan's historical account of the Volga Vikings.
Starring Antonio Banderas as ibn Fadlan, as well as Diane Venora and Omar Sharif.
Made by legendary British armourer Terry English who has worked on over 300 productions, creating iconic pieces like the Colonial Marines' armor in Aliens and King Arthur's armor in Excalibur. Other notable projects include Harry Potter, Gladiator, and Transformers. His work is held in museums such as the UK's Royal Armouries, and in private collections.
