Any auction item that the title starts with an * is Crown Jewel Eligible. Which means that if the winner of the crown jewel raffle selects that auction item as their prize, that item will be removed from the auction line up.
Known as the “Ribeye of the Sky”, this three day/three night hunt will give you and a hunting partner the perfect tast of adventure! Come explore thousands of acres of the flatlands of west Texas while you chase the beautiful Sandhill Crane. This package includes lodging and breakfasts at a local hotel and hearty meals and cold drinls served by staff every evening in a beautiful converted barn or we will take you to taste the cuisine at some of our favorite local restaurants. This trip is to be scheuled for November -January 2025/2026 and hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunters ($2,195 each). Hunters will hunt 8x1. The Diamond Wing Outfitters staff and guides will give you a fun filled trip while you enjoy gotgeous sunrises and good company! Each evening your guide will provide you with the pin ocation of where the next day’s hunt will be after they have scouted the best locaton to take your chances with this majectic species. Near or far, we can drive up to an hour away to find the biggest group of cranes possible, but the spread will be set and ready for you when you arrive! Typically, we hunt out of layout blinds or aframe style brushed bkinds along immagration turrets or ditches. Limits are three carnes daily and five lesser Canadians per hunter. With that siad, if you are a migratory bird hunter you know how birds can be, and sandhill cranes are a notorious difficult bird to decoy. With our experienced crew we will use our knowledge to the best of our ability for you to enjoy the beautiful sight and sound of these crabnes as they pile into the region for their migration south. We typically finish hunting around 11:00 a.m. each day. This gives you ample time to get back to the hotel, grab lunch in town and ake a nap before we join you for dinner and the hunting stoires can commence. Hunters are responsible for transportation to and from Canyon, Texas; hunting license (approximazyely $85); transportation during the hunt; gun rental with ammo $250; and gratuities. By submitting an electronic bid in the DSC Great Lakes Regional Chapter virtual auction in March 2025, bidder acknowledges that all bids submitted are legally binding offers to purchase and, if accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, constitutes a legally bidding contract between the bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter. Once submitted, no bid may be removed. The auctioneer is the sole authority in establishing specific bid increments, the high bidder (purchaser), and the amount bid. Successful bidder acknowledges further that, should their bid be accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, they are legally responsible to consummate the sale not later than the 12:00 a.m. the date immediately following the auction sale. All auction sales shall be considered consummated only be means of making payment in full via credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Bidder further acknowledges that all credit card purchases shall be in the amount of the high bid submitted plus a 4% bank administrative fee and that in the instance of the purchase of physical items, buyer shall be solely responsible for packaging, shipping and insurance expenses and/or the expense of the transfer of firearms from a local, licensed FFL holder to a FFL holder of the buyers choice.
Specific goods and/or services described in the official auction offering constitute the full and complete agreement between the high bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors, donors and Dallas Safari Club, individually and/or collectively. The DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject any bid offered on an item identified in the auction item description as having a reserve bid.
Neither the DSC - Great Lakes Regional Chapter, specific hunt donors and/or Dallas Safari Club guarantee or warrant that trophy animals of any species, or that any animals of any quality, will be taken on any hunt/trip offered for sale by means of the Chapter auction.
Consummation of an auction purchase, as described above, is an acknowledgement that the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors and/or Dallas Safari Club affirm that they have not in any manner inspected good/services sold via auction. Further, buyer is advised to secure a competent inspection of firearms, archery equipment, knives, ammunition, and weapons of any manner prior to use. All goods are sold as is without any warranty of any type, of faults and/or defects of any manner. All warrantees and/or guarantees for all goods and/or services are those provided solely by specific manufactures.
All services sold by means of the auction have been secured from, and are to be provided by, third parties. No services of any kind are to be provided directly by the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter or by Dallas Safari Club. DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club bear no responsibility/liability for the delivery or quality of services of any item sold by means of the auction or any loss or damage arising from, or connected to, performance or non-performance of any service purchased by means of the auction. Further, purchaser acknowledges that actions of governmental agencies, foreign or domestic, are beyond the control of the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and/or Dallas Safari Club. As such, DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club make no guarantees/warrantees related to services disrupted and/or not performed as a result of any action taken by any governmental agency.
