Terracotta sealing from Western Gangetic Valley, (c.1st - 2nd century AD), said to have been collected at the ancient site of Erich, 9.38g. (Length: 34.51, Width: 32.35)

Extremely fine, Very rare.

The stamp is composed of a number of symbols, in different perspectives, and might have had a legend in small Brahmi letters in the centre; however, it is not readable. Above the 'legend', to left a Ganges dolphin symbol, with a six-armed symbol to its right and two bow-and arrow symbols juxtaposed to extreme right. Below the 'legend', a boar facing left, a 'rising sun'-like emblem and a goddess, standing frontally.
