Cal. 7.62x39. S# 406785. Bbl. 16". A very early semi-auto AK-47 variant imported from China through Import Arms Company Sacramento CA. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Front trunnion marked "56S" along w/ the triangle 66 Arsenal mark. Import markings on bbl. Correct yellow/red tinted wooden furniture & reinforced stamped receiver. Proper slant muzzle break in front of hooded post front sight. Gas block/ bayonet lug play host to on board cleaning rod. Tangent rear sight marked to 800 meters. Right side controls. Trap door butt stock includes cleaning kit remainder. Left side green canvas sling. Matching numbers on several small parts & receiver. MAGS:1 metal 30 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: bayo & scabbard. CONDITION: exterior surfaces still retain the vast majority of their original finish. The only exception is in the area of receiver & selector where a fine line wears almost immediately to due mechanical intervention. Light scratching on bbl. & gas block which appear to have been caused from rubbing on aluminum sling rivet. Bright bore w/ aggressive rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1449/JZ). MODERN. $800-1,200.
