Early medieval Gujarat, unattributed uninscribed coin, (600-700 AD), unpublished in major sources, 1.06g. Obv: Stylized bust of king to right. Rev: Stylized representation of Garuda.
Very fine+, Rare.
Most likely an issue of one of the many feudatory dynasties of early medieval Gujarat, following the prototype of Gupta coins. The stylized Garuda motif here looks also like a Kalasha placed on a stand.
