Star Wars Skeleton Crew (2024–2025) - Prototype Blasters.
Original pre-production made prototype blasters used in the production of the Jon Watts and Christopher Ford created science fiction adventure television series 'Star Wars Skeleton Crew' (2024–2025), taking place in the same time frame as The Mandalorian series and its interconnected spin-offs after the events of the film Return of the Jedi (1983).
These specific firearm styles broke new ground for Lucasfilm's visual department, departing from traditional industrial or World War-era military surplus silhouettes to establish a distinct, antique "space flintlock" aesthetic. This prototype design was actively utilized by the production team to establish the unique visual identity of the Outer Rim space pirates, famously carried in various configurations by characters like the Shistavanen pirate captain Brutus.
Jude Law stars in the series with Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Nick Frost.
