Spotted Wolf was a Northern Cheyenne who he grew to be a great warrior and later became chief of the Omisis Band. He was elected to the Council of 44 and fought with his older sons at Little Bighorn, recovering white handled pistols believed to be General Custer's. After Little Bighorn, he surrendered and became a scout for General Miles.
