Serial #84, Caliber 44-40 WCF Barrel 7-1.2” Manufactured 1890-1896. With an extremely limited production estimated at 2020 total revolvers the Remington Model 1890 is one of the rarest of all frontier used revolvers. Examples are known to have been used by Territorial police, Cowboys and several small Gov’t contracts. Full Remington address on barrel with Caliber designation “44W” on left side of barrel. Fitted with factory hard rubber checkered grips with “RA” monogram. Factory fitted with lanyard ring and full nickel finish. The Remington 1890 had a short production due to its high cost. Exceptionally fine original condition with most all finish remaining with light loss from holster use. Legends are legible and action remains in proper working order. ANTIQUE
