Satavahanas, alloyed copper coin of Siri Satakani (c.100-50 BC), 'elephant' type, Nasik region, PAIC 2604, 7.60g. Obv: elephant walking to right, 'Ujjain'-symbol above; Brahmi legend Raño Siri (Satavahanasa) around. Rev: tree with large drooping leaves in a criss-cross railing.

This is one of the rare type of coins with legend 'Satavahana' from the Nasik region, and perhaps the earliest in the series with characteristic 'tree with drooping leaves' on reverse.
