Cal. 7.5x55 Swiss. S# 450494. Bbl. 25 5/8". All visible numbers match. The first official Sniper Rifle adopted by the Swiss military. Standard K31 rifle selected for accuracy & equipped w/ Kern 1.8x telescoptic sight. Inverted V reticle. This unusual sight has an objective lens that rotates upward for use. Tangent elevation adj. to 1,000m. Receiver marked on top w/ Swiss Cross. Rifle also fitted w/ standard tangent rear sight graduated to 1,500m. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Stacking bar & bayonet lug are present. Provision for side sling. Walnut stock set w/ Swiss acceptance marks on right side of butt. MAGS: 1 detachable 10 rd. CONDITION: stock set has light wear, scattered dents & scratches throughout. Buttstock has long splice in forend running from front of receiver to lower band during during mfg. for economic reasons. Shows fine professional workmanship. Metal has 80% original blue finish w/ wear & scattered sm. scratches. Scope appears cloudy w/ peppery spotted appearance on objective lens. Very good shiny bore.
