1) STEYR MODEL 1909. Cal. 6.35mm (25 ACP). S# 50887A. Bbl. 2 1/8". Mfg. 1915 (1909 to WWI & 1921-1939). Well made pocket pistol of thin design having tip up bbl. similar to modern Beretta plus low mounted bbl. below recoil spring similar to some S&Ws. MAGS: 1 very good 6 rd. CONDITION: very good w/ occasional sm. spot of peppery oxidation plus stained appearance to in the white trigger. Minimal finish to all screws. Very good to excellent grips & bore. (19-5804/NW). 2) CHINESE (unknown model). Cal. 30 Mauser. S# 19403. Bbl. 5 3/8". Unusual design having matching numbered frame, slide & bbl. Grip shape influenced by broomhandle w/ grips having cross flags & brass diamond inlays. Spur hammer w/ decorative concentric circles on sides. Bbl. & slide have lightening cuts similar to broomhandle. Top of bbl. marked "BRUPBSFRBP" (U is inverted) & "SPFUSRBFSRBUP" (first F & last U inverted). Bbl. retained by cross screws front & rear; removes similar to Beretta. W/ bbl. removed, slide removes towards front. Appears far superior in workmanship to most Chinese pistols. MAGS: 1 good 6rd. CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ fading blue & beginning brown patina throughout. Moderate hand wear to grips. Does not cock nor retain mag. due to weak ineffective dual purpose spring; inside rear of grip area. Poor bore w/ oxidation throughout. (19-5806/NW). BOTH CURIO. $800-1,200.
