Cal. 30 RF. S# 4. Bbl. 2 7/8" oct. to rnd. w/ German silver semi circle front sight. Early model w/out extractor. Fish tail shaped 2 piece rosewood grips. Left side of bbl. & left side of frame under grips have matching # "4". Estimated quantity produced is believed to be under 1,200, 1864-1876. CONDITION: metal has cleaned gray appearance w/ general light pitting. Top bbl. flat retains clear 2 line address. Grips show age darkened appearance & handling marks. Right panel is broken through screw attachment screw hole. Bore shows lightly visible rifling & spots of pitting. (01-17034/DS). ANTIQUE. $750-1,250.
