Cal. 22 RF. S# 18. Bbl. 2 7/8" oct. to rnd. w/ German silver semi circle front sight. Early model w/out extractor. Fish tail shaped 2 piece rosewood grips. Left side of bbl. & left side of frame under grips have matching # "18". Estimated quantity produced is believed to be under 1,200, 1864-1876. CONDITION: metal has mottled gray/brown appearance w/areas of pitting. Top bbl. flat has partially legible 2 line marking. Grips show wear w/ age darkened appearance. Bore is dark w/ partially visible rifling & spots of deep pitting. (01-17033/DS). ANTIQUE. $750-1,250.
