Cal. 22 LR. S# 19706. Bbl. matching numbered 12" w/ standard V notch sight at rear & Beech Combination front. Mfg. 1896-1915 (approx. 2,500 units) w/ scarce factory supplied vernier tang sight. Skeleton stock assembly numbered 17762. Nickel plated frame & stock having blued bbl. & walnut grips. CONDITION: good plus overall appearance w/ flaking of nickel in grip area. Thinning bluing & slight peppery oxidation at muzzle. Slight bend to tang of vernier sight. Very good front sight. Light handling marks on grips. Stock fits well in dovetail but attachment screw aspect needs attention. Slight bubbling of finish w/ loss near grip at top. Good bore w/ slight traces of faint pitting. (20-757/NW). CURIO. $550-800.
