Cal. 22 RF. S# 574. Bbl. 10" rnd. w/ oct. shank & blue finish. Combination globe front sight & Hunters Pet style adj. folding rear sight. Medium size brass frame w/ nickel finish, sideplate, spur trigger, mushroom shaped release button & linkage operated extractor. Early model w/ hammer mounted firing pin. 2 Piece rosewood grips. Butt is fitted w/ slotted plate w/ shoulder stock attachment. Bbl., frame & shoulder stock have matching numbers. Estimated production 15,000, 1875-1896. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 12" iron shoulder stock w/ nickel finish. CONDITION: frame & shoulder stock retain over 95% nickel. Bbl. retains 80% dull lightly faded blue showing sm. spots of pitting near muzzle. Grips have added varnish over scratches & sm. dents. Bore has slightly darkened appearance w/ worn rifling. (01-17014/DS). ANTIQUE. $900-1,300.
