1) STEVENS FAVORITE RIFLE. Cal. 25 Stevens RF. S# J795. Bbl. 24" oct. to rnd. Dovetail mounted front sight w/ broken bead, rear sight is removed. Single shot falling block action. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ dished checkered hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: 70% dull faded bbl. blue. Action finish is fading to mottled patina showing spots of corrosion. Wood has worn finish w/ dents, gouges & handling marks. Stock has crack extending from lower tang. Bore retains moderately worn rifling. (19-5819/DS). 2) REMINGTON NO.4S MILITARY MODEL ROLLING BLOCK. Cal. 22 S & L. S# 4289. Bbl. 28" rnd. Case colored rolling block action. Left side is marked "MILITARY MODEL". Musket length band fastened walnut forearm & straight grip walnut stock having steel buttplate along w/ sling & stacking swivels. Right side of stock has hand cut numbers "41". Mfg. 1913-1923. CONDITION: exposed part of bbl. retains 90% dull lightly faded blue showing spots of freckling. Action has dark lightly faded case colors showing spots of finish loss. Stock has dark original finish showing scattered dents, scratches & marks. Bore is generally bright w/ lightly worn rifling & spots of pitting near muzzle. (19-5820/DS). BOTH CURIO. $600-900.
