Cal. 44. S# 11763. Bbl. 6" rnd. w/ dovetail mounted semi circular front sight. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. Blue finish w/ case colored loading lever & hammer. Bbl., frame & top strap have "K" inspection marks. 1 Piece walnut grip, right side has "CTL" cartouche, right side has "JWK" cartouche. Total of about 23,000 mfg. late 1850's-early 1860's. CONDITION: bbl. & action retain 60% blue showing areas of flaking w/ numerous scratches, marks & spots of corrosion. Loading lever & hammer retain 30% faded case colors. Grip has dull worn appearance w/ clear cartouches. Bore is bright w/ sound rifling showing spots of very light pitting. (01-17125/DS). ANTIQUE. $2,500-4,500.
