A pair of Klingon guard uniforms from Star Trek Into Darkness. Klingon guards wore their uniforms when Khan ambushed them and the Enterprise crew on Kronos. One uniform, made specifically for the sequel, consists of chest armor, shoulder guards with an elastic harness, a scarf, a long-sleeved shirt (extra large), an undershirt (extra large), a pair of gloves, arm bracers, a codpiece, pants (approximate size 34), thigh guards, kneepads, and a pair of boots (marked U.S. size 12). The second uniform, made for the first film and reused in the sequel, consists of a greatcoat (approximate size 42), an undershirt (approximate size medium), a scarf, pants, a leather belt and cuffs with a sewn-in set of gloves, and a pair of pants (approximate size 40).The chest armor, shoulder guards, thigh guards, kneepads, arm bracers and codpiece are all made of foam and mimic elephant hide by incorporating faux leather made of china silk and terrycloth that features a scale design. The scarf is made of a synthetic material and lined with Spandex. The long-sleeved shirt consists of glossy, textured sleeves made of faux leather stitched to a black Spandex sport shirt. The pants are made of the same textured synthetic material and include black nylon suspenders. The undershirt is a black Spandex sport shirt. The gloves are black leather and suede. The black boots are made of neoprene and rubber, and are distressed with dirt.The second greatcoat is also faux leather made of china silk and terrycloth that features a scale design. The black undershirt is a long-sleeved cotton shirt. The scarf is green and made of a synthetic material. The brown cotton pants include black nylon suspenders. The black belt and cuffs are leather and the black gloves are leather and suede. The costumes feature hand-written wardrobe labels in the long-sleeved shirt, a scarf, both gloves, arm bracers, codpiece, pants, kneepads, thigh guards, greatcoat, undershirt and pants marked with the actor's name. The boots feature hand-written wardrobe labels marked with the name of another background actor. Also included are wardrobe tags with hand-written notes about the costumes.
