A Romulan costume from Star Trek. Romulans created an alternate reality when they waged war against the Federation after they were transported back in time. The costume includes a long custom-made coat (large), pants (marked size 36/38) and a pair of shoes (marked size 13). The costume was developed using a ragged top-stitched synthetic fabric with frayed edges to reflect the Romulans' work on a mining planet. The brown floor-length coat features a wide collar and decorative stitching to create a patchwork of fabric. The interior is lined with cotton and shows the Romulan insignia painted just below the back of the neck. Inside the coat is a strip of tape with a hand-written annotation that reads "100pc order #6". The pants feature similar construction and include two rows of snap buttons on both sides of the waist for an adjustable fit. Also included are split-toe tabi shoes with hand-painted leather accents. Written inside the shoes is the name of a background Romulan actor. Also included is a wardrobe tag with hand-written notes about the costume.Estimate: $800 - 1000*Estimated sale price; sold without reserve.
