Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 2144974. Unmarked 18" bbl. Stamped adj. aperture rear sight marked "LR CO". Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Unmarked straight cut slide flat bolt marked "IO". Military trigger guard marked "INLAND" Rotary safety. Mag. catch has 30 rd. mag extension. Straight cut hammer w/ illegible marking. Unmarked low wood stock. Unmarked 4 rivet handguard. Stock has inletted metal plates on both sides over sling slot areas. Right side is brass colored plate measuring approx. 4"x 2 1/4" & marked "COLT REVOLVERS. Left side is brass plate measuring approx. 2"x3" w/ eagle motif. MAGS: 1 plastic 5 rd. mag. CONDITION: stock set has been refinished over wear, dents & scratches w/ high gloss finish applied. Stock bedding has added shims. Bbl. band has sling swivel & bayonet lug removed. Front sight blade has been thinned. Metal retains 50% thinning, worn wartime parkerizing except forward end of bbl. which has appearance of added cold blue. Very good shiny bore. (20-1299/RW). MODERN. $350-550.
