Cal. 30-06. S# 1468850. Bbl. 24" marked behind front sight "SA / flaming bomb / 9-42". Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 2850 yards w/ volley notch & dished windage & elevation knobs. Sight base is replacement made w/out lightening cuts. Front sight has added amateur gunsmith made aperture for target shooting. Straight down bolt handle. Bolt sleeve is marked "NS" under safety lug & "R". All milled furniture w/ smooth trap buttplate. Stacking swivel & screw are not present. Butt swivel & screws are not present. "S" type walnut stock w/ 2 recoil bolts. Walnut handguard. CONDITION: stock set has been heavily sanded & refinished removing markings & has loss of wood in inletted areas. Stock set has moderate staining & handling marks throughout. Metal has well worn parkerized finish w/ sm. areas of oxidation throughout. Fair bore turning dark, but w/ strong lands. (21-1189/RW).
