Cal. 30-06. S# 447733. Bbl. 24" marked "SA" flaming bomb &"9-09". Straight down bolt handle. Safety lug is marked underneath "S29". Ladder rear sight w/ volley notch graduated to 2,850 yds. Dished elevation & windage knobs. Blade front sight w/ unmarked stamped sight cover. All milled furniture. Later replacement straight grip walnut stock set w/ 2 recoil bolts. Stock has very faint boxed "JFC" & appears "AA" Augusta Arsenal rework marking. Smooth trap buttplate. CONDITION: buttstock has light wear, staining & scratches w/ early arsenal rework type finish. Handguard appears to be original finish. Receiver , floorplate & bbl. appear worn original blue. Trigger guard & rear sight base have latter type parkerized finish. Fair worn bore turning dark in grooves. (20-575/RW). CURIO. $700-900.
