Flush lockplate. 3 Position tumbler. Low arch breech block dated 1884. 2 Piece trigger guard. Walnut stock w/ crisp “SWP” cartouche for Samuel W Porter dated 1889. Encircled script “P” behind trigger guard. Correct cleaning rod. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 18" triangular bayonet marked on inside "US / S". Retains most original finish w/ very light high point wear. CONDITION: stock has light wear & sm. scattered handling marks. Breech block has nice case colors, tang has traces of case colors. Balance of metal has lg. degree of original blue & sm. scattered areas of peppery oxidation. Near excellent shiny bore. (01-17415/RW). ANTIQUE. $500-700.
