Cal. 30-40 Krag. S# 172349. Bbl. 30". Model 1902 rear sight w/ sliding peep. Blade front sight. Matching walnut stock set marked only w/ partly legible script "P" under grip & faint "40". Nickel plated oiler in butt. CONDITION: rifle has been refinished rendering markings obscure & w/ loss of wood in inletted areas. Metal finish has been enhanced w/ light wear, scattered fine pitting. Notable pitting on mag. box. Bore is shiny, but has worn lands. (21-1631/RW). CURIO. $500-800.
