Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl. 40" rnd. w/ 2 leaf rear sight. US Springfield marked lock is fitted w/ intact Maynard primer feed having an American Eagle on compartment lid. Breech end of bbl. & back portion of lock have 1859 date. 3 Band walnut stock w/ iron musket buttplate & fittings. Tulip tip iron ramrod. CONDITION: metal has cleaned gray appearance w/ general very light pitting. Stock has partially visible cartouche & shows numerous scratches & sm. dents w/ a sm. crack behind the lock. Bore is generally bright w/ sound rifling. (01-17002/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
