Cal. 52 RF (56-56). S# 43059. Bbl. 22" rnd. w/ pinned German silver blade front sight & graduated folding leaf carbine rear sight. Action has saddle ring & bar on left side. Band fastened forearm & straight grip walnut stock. Right side of stock has added brass hunting dog & circular metal inlays. Left side of stock has sm. rectangular inlay that may be Mother of Pearl. Tubular mag. that loads through the steel carbine buttplate. CONDITION: metal has partially cleared gray appearance showing general pitting. Hammer & breech block appear to be replacements. Stock has lg. added wood repair behind lower tang w/ areas of epoxy fill & cracks around saddle ring bar & lock. Mag. is intact. Bore is pitted retaining partially intact rifling. (01-17642/DS). ANTIQUE. $900-1,200.
