Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1864. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched rear sight, lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, breech block latch non functioning, missing extractor and other small parts. One piece smooth sporterzied wood stock, chipped on left side, straight grip cracked behind barrel tang, left side of comb is carved away, smooth brass butt plate, tang marked 244, brass trigger guard, two barrel bands.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with pitting, rust, handling marks and wear. Stock shows marks, scratches and wear.
