Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1870. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, barrel marked steel, breechblock has MK3 Latch, side lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth half length wood stock, missing the rear sight leather cover and screws, straight grip small crack behind lock, smooth brass butt plate with trap, tang numbered 27, right side of stock has partial Enfield Roundel 11/2. Single barrel band. Rare cleaning rods stored in Butt Trap are marked with Broad arrow WD, E23.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
