Main Description: This carbine has the rifling removed bore polished muzzle has been swaged as a choke, unsure of Age or Place of Conversion. Blade front sight with ramp, missing complete rear sight, round barrel, side lock marked CVR Enfield 1864 with checkered spur hammer that functions, missing nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate with unmarked tang, right side of stock has Enfield roundel, missing butt swivel and ramrod, has two barrel bands and bayonet lug.
Wear: Metal finish shows some light pitted spots, rust speckles, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
